This weeks WiP item is Peanut by Jenny Lee of jennylovesbenny bear boutique. I found him during one of my many Etsy visits.

Becca and I are working on this cutie simultaneously. Both are going  to be presents; mine for Kaitlyn and Becca’s for a surprise! Our deadline is 6th November – Kaitlyn’s birthday. I can’t wait till he’s finished – he’s so gorgeous!

Great buy…but did I really need them?

After work today I went shopping at Spotlight to put a new quilt cover on lay-by for Kaitlyn. Right at the entry they had a bargains table with 10 balls of wool for $10! I know…how could I not buy them right?! A gorgeous olive green Vera “Shiver” wool. I cannot wait to use it!

(Too) Many Works in Progress

OK, I cannot believe I’m going to admit this publicly. I have Craft Addiction. There, I’ve said it. Are you happy??

I should point out though not just “a” craft but many crafts. I love scrapbooking, crochet, teddy bears, cross stitch, embroidery and patchwork just to name a few projects that are currently waiting to be completed. I will also point out, they are all strategically hidden through out the house so my DH will not have a true idea of just how bad my addiction is (*note to self: don’t send him the link to this blog :) ).

My favourite WiP at the moment is Andy design by Marlene De Lorenzo. This gorgeous little fellow is being sewn as a team effort  for a lovely lady I work with, Vajira who is expecting her first baby in October.
